Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I'm wondering if there have been many recent success stories in Scotland at all?
I kicked off 2 cases against RBS and Alliance and Leicester way back in June 2007 (see previous post).
Back then, I had a secure job and getting my charges back would have been a bonus. Now though having been unemployed for the last 4 months getting the money back would really help me out.
I sent my complaints to both banks and then my lba's. Both told me my complaint was on hold pending the outcome of the FSA investigation and I didn't follow up to court.
Any advice for me at this time?
My claim against RBS was about £2700 with A&L being slightly smaller at just over £500. I'd like to concentrate on RBS for the moment though.
