Thread: hp problems and cars from Kar world

I have got a car from Kar world in August shortly after receiving it, i had noticed that the front end does not sit right (vauxhall Zafira) which made me concerned. when purchasing the car i was not told about any history on the car the dealer ship said it was a reliable car no problems 1 owner wanted a change in car the car is 06 plate.. nearly 3months down the line the drive shaft went then at the garage the gear box was damaged then a whole chain of events happened. finally got the car back 3 weeks later to find that the car sounded like a bag of rubish took it bag to the garage to ask where my warrentee book was and why it was sounding bad they said they lost the book and couldnt do any more work on it..
i then contacted the finance company and asked them to take car back and they have refuse Consumer finance has then told me that i still have to pay for it. even though the car does not meet the specifications on what the dealership said.
the finance company have then sent me letters about money owed by me. threatening with debt collectors. i have told them to come take car but they have refused.
Kar world have ripped me off by selling me a dodgey motor i do not know where i stand as they have asked for £10835.73 within 7 days. the car cost 7995.
i do not know where i stand and what to do next does any one know what to do? many thanks
do not trust Kar world motors as i have been told they are damaged motors...

The finance company own the car and as long as you are paying the monthly fee they have an obligation to keep it running if anything major goes wrong.they have a joint responsibility with the original dealer. You can take them to court and they will have to pay for the reapirs, been done many times.
