Hi, I received a parking fine from UKPC while visiting a relative. The ticket says that I wasnt parked in a bay but the thing is when I received the fine letter through the post, the address where the ticket was issued does not match with my relative's address. I was in new southgate in north london, they sent me a ticket addressed Leicester city. I have written an appeal letter and sent it to them but instead of receiving a reply they sent me a doubled fine notification.

Should i write them another letter?
UKPC are at it again The advice from the above posters are valid and true. As you have found out the 'appeals' process is worthless. PPCs will never turn down profit so you (and every other motorist) will be ignored and certainly rejected. Its just a part of the PPC [problem] to look as if there is a legitimate process in place. Ignore them

As long as you can prove to a judge (in the very very rare chance they take you to court) that you weren't in Leicester then they're stuffed - just sit back and relax
