    Default abbey mortgage charges

    Hi was wondering if someone could enlighten me. After 24 long years of having a motgage 1st with National & Provincial then taken over by Abbeyicon, due to a lot of mortgageicon arrears charges we decided to surrender our endowment policy last year and pay off the mortgageicon. Is it possible to reclaim these charges or is it now too late? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

    Yes it is certainly worth a go. See my current post http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...-woolwich.html and similar - its a very similar process to bank charges.

    There is no such thing as impossible; only the degree of difficulty required to achieve the desired outcome.
