Hi there, i am looking to convert an empty industrial property that i own into a storage facilility, if i was to do this and create a number of storage compartments from the unit, for example 30% of the premises's square footage was not in use, would i still be liable to pay business rates for the full 100% of the property or only amount that is actually in use?
