Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Ive sent the first letter then waited 14 days then i sent the lba and again waited 14 days. i rang the branch to be told that it had been passed onto the customer care team at wellington house, so when i rang them they told me that they had sent out an acknowledgement for both letters, so when i told them the deadline was up they said that the reason they have not yet looked into it properly is because the 6 years worth of statements they had requested had been sent out to me instead of them and that it would take another week for them to receive another copy. So my question is do i go ahead and and file a claaim or do i give them time to receive the statements and for them to make some sort of offer.
Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.
Generally we tend to advise sticking to your timetable as it is likely that this is just another delaying tactic by the banks.

i recieved a letter back today apologising about the delay and that i will hear from them in the next 10 working days.
When i file the claim against them can i put it in any court because being from N Ireland the limit is only £2000
Could anybody help with reference to me filing a claim. Does it have to be in a court in my country (NI) or can i go to any court.
I just recieved an offer from RBS for £557:00 as a Full and final settlement but i will be refusing this and as my next step is the courts i would appreciate any help.
