    Default Distant CCA's

    Hi,

    Can someone please advise if it is worth doing a CCA request on a company if you did the application on line? Do they still have to provide you with a copy of the CCA? The credit card was taken out in 2008.

    They do still have to produce a copy of the CCA but I dont really see the point.

    My feeling is that since your application was taken out in 2008, even if one of the prescribed terms was missing since a court can now rule on the enforceability of any agreement a court, seeing you have had the money, will enforce even an incorrect agreement.

    most of the online signup site have the cca for printout if you login to the a/c via the website of the OC

    Just wanted to see if they did actually have a CCA and not just terms and conditionsicon (as that is what they seem to be sending everyone else from what I have read on here), because surely if they do not actually have a CCA in place regardless if the card was taken out prior to 2007 or not the debt is unenforceable?
