    Default How long for cash from RBS?

    I received a goodwill offer from Tesco/RBSicon through fosicon on 19 February & accepted the same day.

    Conveniently my acceptance form went missing when being sent from FOS to Tesco/RBS & a second copy had to be sent from FOS which Tesco/RBS only received on 17 March.

    How long should it take for me to receive my cash from them & is there anything other than ringing weekly that I can do to hurry it up?

    I'm afraid that I don't know how long it takes to get the money but certainly the advice as usual is not to get involved in phone callsicon without recording the call.
    Was this a hardship application?

    I have told RBSicon that as I am off work & the moment & the sole breadwinner I need this money asap.

    I received a cheque from Direct Line and 2 RBSicon payments into my bank account within 2 weeks of returning the acceptance letters. This was for complaints dealt with directly through RBS and not through the fosicon.

    I think BF is asking whether this is a PPIicon case as your thread in is that forum or whether it is a bank charges hardship claim?

    I had a complaint upheld by the fosicon in January, at the time they stated approx 8 weeks until I got paid out - I'm still waiting and have just been advised a further 4 weeks and if I havent heard by 12th May they will look into it for me!

    however mistake made by me on contractual interest so going after the rest now
    SETTLED IN FULL JAN 2007

    It is a PPIicon claim through fosicon,

    It could take a long time from start to finish my claim was 12 months but was with the FOS in August and settled in December 4 months. It will depend on the complexity of the claim and whether you have supplied the full list of correspondence with regard to your claim

    I have no legal training and the advice I offer is a matter of support. Before you commit to any Legal action you are advised to contact a qualified legal practitioner.

    Bank charge successes:
    Halifax - Full settlement incl interest.
     HSBC - Settlement, goodwill no admission of liability about 75% of claim.
     RBS - Settlement, goodwill no admission of liability about 70% of claim.
    2 ongoing claims for bank charges with HSBC with more to come. (Supreme Court ruling could have upset these claims) They did
    PPI Successes
     PPI 4 settlements on 9 loans. FOS involvement on 7 added on the 8 % Statutory interest another 30% to both.
    2 claims settled in full with LV without FOS involvement.
    2 claims settled in full with HSBC without FOS involvement

    PPI Claims ongoing with:
    Cap one Now with the FOS
    Barclays. Paid up today 24/04/10 cheque received for over £4,500 and in the bank.
    LTSB still have to decide on this as their SAR production was abysmal. Papers data mixed up documents missing etc

     1 Complaint not upheld by FOS they said it was ICO issue. Complaint upheld by ICO. See this..

    Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.
