I purchased A extended warranty with my Playstation 3 as I was told it covered the controllers aswell and would be given a genuine sony replacement if anything went wrong with them. When one went faulty a couple of weeks ago I was told it would have to be sent for repair then this week I get a phone callto say a replacement had been sent as it could not be repaired. Too my shock when I went to pick it up they have a cheap third party alternative. Now they say I have to have this and it is nothing to do with Comet it is the insurance company. Comet are just getting worse with their custmomer service I advice not to get their insurance on anything you are much better looking for for own alternative cover if you want anything insured.
