I am in the process of sending an S.A.R to reclaim mis-sold PPI, the address that i have been told to send the registered letter to is a PO box, will this be signed for? I cannot answer this question as I do not know where your letter is going.
Good question!
What is the company name?
Why have they told you to send a registered letter to a PO box?
It is surely up to you to decide where your SAR is sent IMO.
Please provide more detailed information but no personal details like names, addresses, or bank details and account numbers.

Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.
Use the company registered address, which will be on the stationary somewhere. They can claim in court to have not received a letter to PO box and have.
The address that i have seen listed to send an S.A.R to was Sarah Wainwright, GE Money, P.O Box 700, Leeds. Trying to find out how much they have stuck me for charges & to find out if PPI was included.
I got documents from another person's account!
I hope you reported this to the Information Commissioners Office and the other person, big breach of the Data Protection Act 1998 of the other person.

Found the Sarah Wainwright & PO Box address in the "Stickies" in the Store Card section, it was delivered & signed for. I have been told that this is an internal PO box within a rather large company unlike a typical PO box which i am led to believe is situated at a nearby Post Office.
