This involves an agreement with Bank of Scotland through capital bank as a hp agreement.
I took a car out on finance and have received letter from finance company requesting details on car as i recently completed a cherished transfer.
This raised suspicion with me as i belived they had made a mistake and hadnt actually got details of car they financed me. After checking aggreement with company i have noticed that they have financed a car with a different chassis number but with the right original number plate. But now the number plate has changed, they hold no correct info on car.
What position does this leave me in.
Does this mean there is no finance oweing on the car i now have.
I have tried checking for hp oweing on the new number plate but dvlni have not updated records to show correct car
can i sell this car
