Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Is there anyone who can help me with my budgeting? I am trying so hard to work out dates of when would be best for bills and things to go out, based on what I've got coming in, but I can't get my head around all the numbers. Can someone help please?
EDIT: I really should have posted this in the questions and suggestions forum, how do I move it?
In the templates library there is a spreedsheet for hardship claims which is an income and expenditure form. That might help you. If not feel free to ask further on this thread

Thank you, I've already done a spreadsheet I'm just finding it really difficult to marry dates to dates if that makes sense, like working out which date is best for certain bills to go out, when is best to do the weekly shop, all based on the dates we have money coming in.
I have problems with concentration and figures. I seem to always have bills going out days before money comes in even though I thought I'd sorted the right dates to correspond with money coming in, I know it sounds absolutely ridiculous but I'm really struggling.
Problem is aswell, I get paid bi-weekly, my husband gets paid 4 weekly, and all bills go out on a set date. This, I think, is what makes it difficult for me to manage our money.

Just a quickie and i'll get back to you tomorrow - but you should be claiming some benefit rent and council tax check here Start Calculation to se ewhat you can claim.
One thing that strikes me straight away is that you need to at least allow a little bit of money for entertainment (just because you are in debt does not mean that you should never go out - just do it in moderation) and you need to start trying to put some money towards an emergency fund. Things do go wrong from time to time and you need to steadily build up a financial buffer to allow for this.
Thanks. We tend to spend more than we actually plan to on things like petrol or extra food, to be honest we never really go out at all anymore, I'm disabled, and pregnant, and my partner is always exhausted from working full time and looking after me and the house. We have internet and sky TV to keep up entertained and also our painting and artwork that we do.

I've used that tool before, thank you. I have an appointment at the jobcentre on Tuesday to discuss what other benefits I may be entitled to once our baby is born.
