I have the orange Home Max broadband, and for several of months it was fantastic, but from the time when I was having high usage (I had download over 100 GB a month) twice, Orange decided to cut my internet speed to 0.5 MB in peak time (6pm - 12pm), but it is actually cut all day. Now the more interesting part, a few weeks ago someone from selling team from Orange called me and offered a new contract. If I will decide to sign it I will get: half price of my monthly payment (12 instead of 24 that I was paying now), and my speed limit will be taken off, so I will have my speed up to 8 MB. I asked them a few times about this speed limit because it was very important to me, and they was very sure that it will be off when I will decide to take this new contract. So I did, and nothing happened, the speed was still 0.5 MB, I called customer service and they sad that it's not up to them, sad that BT is responsible for my broadband speed, and that BT is cutting my speed down.
