Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.

John
You scare him
Martin is extremely respected and known on this site.
JOgs
Blackhorse Finance : Isssued court papers for £3400 and return of car, settled for £1000
Lloyds TSB : SAR request taken all the way to Court, Damages awarded.
Lloyds TSB PPI : FOS found in my favour, awaiting settlement figure.
Capital ONE : Issued Court papers, refund of £635.38
Barclaycard : Refund of charges £456.16
And your point is?
Martin might well have things going on in his private life that keeps him busy at the moment
All the site members here give of their time and expertise for nothing
They are not here to hold the hands of people who do not want to research these things for themselves
I know Martin personally and he is a kind man who would not deliberately ignore someone for no reason
I QUESTION THEREFORE I AM!!
Unfortunately i'm not an expert in any given field legally and my advice and that of the Consumer Action Group and the Bank Action Group is given without prejudice and without liability so please if in any doubt whatsoever seek help from an insured qualified professional. Contents of my posts are purely my own personal opinions and not condoned or endorsed in any way, shape or form by CAG. Thank you!
I am a little disappointed to read this.
It is true I did add the member to my messenger-I was actually in the middle of helping 2 other users we are not talking of mid afternoon either-this was late at night.
He fails to say that I spent time going through his issues and asking questions to determine how to act.
My response was that I would seek some input from other team members.
It is very rare to catch me on men messenger because I dont go there very often.
Those members who do know my commitments here to the site will know that above all my own things I put people first.
If you look at my 600 threads you will see that very little are devoted to my own stuff.
I leave it for others to pass judgement on that-I did not even have to come here and respond to this-but feel it warrants a response.I have nothing to hide and could easily unapprove this post, but I believe its right to allow people to say what they need to...but a post like this demands a response so now you have mine too.
I will say no more on the matter.

How dare you have a life, a job, as well as helping on here and one-on-one too?
I certainly hope you weren't planning to take the day off again at Christmas, I distinctly remember you taking it off 5 years ago, AND you also took time off for your grandmother's funeral, a whole day no less, when everyone knows you could have easily sent her off by 12 and be back at your desk by 1.00, you slacker.
AND I also know you drank all the vodka, but that's another story.
Tsk, some people.
Apologies to people who I was in the process of helping, I may be gone some time.
This is a free to use site. Despite some donations and now some advertising links, we make very little money.
All of the team - including myself work on this site as volunteers. We make nothing from the site. We give our time for free.
We all put in what we can and we also have other lives to lead.
We are equally assisted by a huge number of registered users who also contribute their own efforts to help others and who get no reward.
If anyone is unhappy about this, then you should seek professional help from your bank. They are paid to help you and also to act in your best interests.
