Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Just a quick point, i am sending an S.A.R in regards to charges on a Burtons card & i am wondering as to a) What company name do i to put on the Postal Order - GE Capital or GE Money b) What address do i send it to - PO Box 700, Leeds or 6, Agar Street, London?
It's an old account & i don't have any statements. The only thing that i do have is an old direct debit form which has : GE Capital Bank Ltd, Direct Debits Department, Trent House, Torre Road, Leeds, LS99 2BD. But i have also read other threads with the 2 addresses that are in my previous post. Don't want to send to the wrong address / department.
