    Default Loans.co.uk

    Hi all.

The fosicon recently upheld my complaint after loans.co.uk made it go to an Ombudsman.
I am a very impatient person and hate waiting around. The FOS gave loans .co.uk 4 weeks to put in the position had I not taken PPIicon out. This means they have to recalculate the loan and pay me back what I have already paid.

Now I have been thinking that as loans .co.uk do not actually hold the loan(it is a secured loan) will the company (kensington mortgages) actually allow them to change the loan. Do you think that maybe they will go for the easy option and just pay us a lump sum(the fos had calclulatedwhat this would be) Has anybody been in this situatiuon before???

Loans.co.uk have 2 weeks left to deal with this as the fos gave them 4 weeks from 4th March. As yet I have not hreard a thing from loans.co.uk not even a we are dealing with it or the payment of compensation the fos said they had to pay. Like I said am very impatient.

A lot of issues for sure I believe patience is what is required even though it sticks a bit in the throat for them to be give even more time to resolve the issues. My fight took 12 months. You will get there but the banks will try and keep hold of your PPI money to the very last second they can.

I am not sure about the secured loan issue and whether kensington would allow them to change but if the FOS have ruled in your favour I believe kensington would have to accept this ruling.

To try and answer the lump sum issue would be purely guesswork and therefore inappropriate for me to make a comment on, as it could be an inacurrate comment.

Keep up with the fight 2 weeks will soon pass and then if no suitable outcome bang in another complaint to the FOS each complaint you submit will cost them a fee to be paid to the FOS.

Hope this helps but I know how frustrating the whole issue can be.

Well well well, what a surprise. Loans.co.uk 4 weeks is up and guess what? yep I have not heard a thing from them. Not a dicky bird. I found the fosicon and I am apparently waiting for somebody to call me back. I have been waiting for 4 hours.

So what is my next move.??
Do I keep on at the FOS or do I try and sort it myself. Maybe I can try and push loans.co.uk for a lump sum pay out as admitedly this would be so much more beneficial at the mo as the house is falling in dis repair and my car is about to expire poor thing its getting old.

    Any thoughts

Hi all. fosicon just called me. Loans.co.uk are still pratting around with this. They keep loosing things. Firstly it was our signed acceptancel. The FOS emailed them saying that they will post but to be sure to sort it as this was the final decision and they emailed back saying they are well aware what that means getting right snotty apparently. They then said they found our acceptance but have lost the final decision. Tut tut tut. The FOS said TBH he has exhasberated all with this and to give them 2 weeks and if still no news to contact him again but this could mean court. OH DEARY ME. Has anybody had this.

I bet they will pay up rather than risk Court especially as the FOS has upheld your complaint. They would look a bit silly to put it mildly trying to explain they had made an offer but then kept losing stuff (probably what happens to a lot of CCAs). It is purely IMO them trying to hold out until the last minute knowing that they will be making you and the FOS work harder.
