Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi All,
Just a quick introduction; I recently found this forum and have read the threads with great interest.
I have a few credit cards that are now becoming like a millstone and the balances just never seem to come down, interest rates keep shooting up, etc. I have used them in the past to fund my business developing and supplying parts to the motor industry but as you're all no doubt aware business is not so good anymore.
I have always kept up payments and have no defaults on any of my cards but not sure how long I can keep that up. I have today sent a CCA request to Egg and Citicards (I've had both cards for many years) and I will be sending a similar request to Mint shortly.
Hopefully I've started this thread in the right place and I will share my experiences with you all.
UPDATE Egg sent me a letter to verify my identity very close to the deadline (which actually passed but the first recorded delivery never arrived) of my Special Delivery CCA request.
I will send them a copy of a utility bill and remind them that their time is up in the same letter.
