Default About to start the ball rolling with Lloyds TSB

    Hi everyone

I'm a newbie !! - About to start the long fight with Lloydsicon TSB - I have spent the last couple of days looking through this great site and reading a lot of the threads - they are truly inspiring!! Keep on fighting regardless.
I'm sorry but I have a question - when I send my first letter (the Data Protection Act Request for statement charges) Do I send it to my local branch or head office?
Many thanks in advance. (And keep up the good work!!)

    Keep us posted

If you read some of the claims that have been won it will give you an idea of what to expect ( though every claim can differ)

    Hi all
Well got the usual bog standard reply after 13 days! But I've not had a chance to look at it again until now. So, I am now ready to send off the letter before actionicon BUT I cannot for the life of me get the 8% interesticon to work ! I've got my spreadsheet filled up with my charges but cannot work out how to get the 87% added on.
    Anybody help??
    Thanks in advance

Is it imperative that I charge the interesticon? I am not too bothered about that?

    Hi,

You don't have to charge interesticon at all, but you are entitled to when you file the claim at court, and they will pay it. If you're only just sending your lbaicon then you've got a couple of weeks to sort out a spreadhseet - you don't add the 8% until you fiel the claim at court. I'm not sure which spreadsheet you've used but the range of forum spreadsheets can be found here. I believe all of them will include 8% statutory interest and if you need any help on those spreadsheets then the Spreadsheet with Interest thread is a useful place to ask questions. Or you can try Mindzai's spreadsheet, Download v1.8, which is in excel format and has a well detailed notes page.

    Hope this helps. Lucid

Mindzai & Lucid vs Lloyds TSB
*Won unconditionally with contractual interest (29.85% compounded)

    Lucid's Account - £749.62 * Joint Account - £2019.64 * Mindzai's Account - £595.65
*All settled in full - 6/2/07
    *Hearings - 7/2/07
    *Prelims sent - 9/8/06

I have had no reply to my lbaicon. I went onto the moneyclaim site to start my claim but it was talking about England and Wales - as I am from Scotland is it different? (by the way I still can't work out how to do the interesticon - so I am not going to claim that, will that make a difference?)
    Hope someone can help.

Also, as I am in Scotland can I only claim for £750 at a time? My overall claim totals £4571 over 5 years and over 2 accounts. Do I have to claim for each account separately?
