Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I will give the link a try and enter all the details on my own case and make a comparison to my fos result. Depending upon that I will either send a letter of congratulations to the FOS or drown my sorrows with a bottle of something Then send a letter of congratulations to Which and then withdraw my subscription for not coming up with the advice 12 months ago

Please do not PM me for advice as it may be sometime before I can respond.
Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.
Re: Which? launches an online PPI reclaiming service
I admire the way it is rendering a very complicated type of complaint/claim much easier for the layperson.
But I was just a bit concerned that it might encourage people to tick every box, and that they might in fact undermine their case by saying that every possible mis-selling element happened to them, making their claims less plausible.
For example - "I didn't know there was PPI added to the loan" + "They pressure sold me the PPI".
Surely doing an SAR first is the right approach - collect your facts and then challenge them. Not just look like a total chancer.
Oh yes, and last time I checked, it didn't have Egg on the list. And they seem to be one of the worst culprits.

Re my previous post,
Nice idea but it would seem (and it may be my own pc) butit is slow and I get the message "it appears the link is broken"
so IMO not as good as CAG at first impressions but they may improve things who knows?

agree MC with your comments if people need assistance what better then a cagger on the other end to help or point in the right direction rather than an electronic "hope we got it right response".
And yes Egg and all the others that have mis-sold should be on the list

Re: Which? launches an online PPI reclaiming service
I just had a look at the letter generated and it looks a bit weak to me.
Perhaps if Which were to add their name to it that might make the providers sit up and take more notice.
I think the template letters on here are much better.
