Could anyone take a look at a letter I am going to send to Eggicon in response to their letter supplying me with a screenshot of my application with no tick box for PPIicon - just a box at the bottom with my credit limit and next to Payment Protection it just has (Accident Sickness, Unemployement and Life) They are saying that if I had not opted into ppi during my application this box would contain the word "NONE".

Thank you for your prompt reply to my complaint.

However, the screenshot of my application that you provided does not supply me with proof that I requested PPI insurance at the time of my application. Therefore please supply me with a full copy of my application including my request for PPI insurance. It is not sufficient for you to say that during the application process it is transferred to another section and the screen showing the box is not kept for future reference. There are screen shots of my name, address, financial information etc. that I filled in on my application but the part where I was supposed to have ticked the box is not there. As I was self employed at the time of the application I would not have chosen to include ppi insurance that would not cover me for all eventualities should I need to make a claim.

If I do not receive a satisfactory response I will be pursuing this matter through the county courticon procedure which will incur further costs.

What I require:-

A full refund of all ppi insurance monies paid plus interesticon at 8%.

From studying relevant information from the Consumer Action group’s website I believe that I would be successful if I initiated court proceedings.
