My son is 14 and just in January 09 was diagonised with ADHD for years i have been doctors and spoke to teachers but nobody would do anything he got into some trouble last summer holidays and the youth offenders team sent him to Cahms and now he has been sorted but only on the 3rd march was he put on medication in between being diagonised and starting his tablets his school permantly excluded him for his behaviour i feel let down again, now he goes to pru school for naughty children who have been excluded. They have now started the ball rolling for a statement for him but cannot understand why his school didnt do one, im unaware but i think really they didnt try hard enough with my son they did not go down every avenue before excluded him i was hoping someone can give me advice as i am at his appeal on tuesday. many thanks x
