Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have an Egg CC which went over the limit in February because of the interest charges added when they calculated the statement. They charged me a £16 overlimit fee. The account is now in order but my March statement also shows another £16 overlimit fee despite the total owing being under the credit limit.
Is the information re: templates etc on these pages still valid? I have drafted the Prelim letter but just want to check this is still the thing to send as the other cases on here are from last year. Am I right in thinking I can try and reclaim the £32?
Haven't seen the templates but Egg paid out all the £16 charges to my friend recently. It took 3 letters to get them to do it as they have 3 standard refusal letters they work through.
