    Default Credit Agreement Template

    Hi

    can someone please provide me with a template letter for asking for a copy of my credit agreement

    I've already phoned them many times and they keep saying they will get back to me but they haven't

    Request Under Consumer Credit Act 1974

    Got this from another thread and I am using it at moment.


    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Account No. XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

    Please send me a copy of the signed credit agreement between XXXXX and myself. As I’m sure you are aware, under the obligations of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 you have a duty to supply this but in doing so are entitled to make a charge. Therefore I enclose a cheque for the statutory sum of £1.00.


    In closing may I thank for your time and I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

    Morgan Stanley - defaulted on CCA request - ball is in their court
    Birmingham Midshires - starting claim 1st March £3000+
    MBNA - Settled in full
    Amex - CCJ issued against Amex and full refund taken by Bailiffs - cheque received eventually!
    Marbles - Full settlement
    Capital One - Received full amount plus costs
