Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
just to let you know ive started the cold turkey.
ive not had a ciggie since 4pm yesterday.
its only 20 hours but hanging in there.
any tipps on the best way of keeping the mind of ciggies.
dont want to use patches etc as they put nicotine back in the body, trying to get the stuff out.
ive been smoking for 30 years
ill see it through, no matter what
ill be doing a daily update to help others in the future
Well done – one of the best things I ever did was give up – here’s a tip – everyday tell yourself you don’t want to smoke and the only way you are going to do that is by not smoking – simple really.
Another tip here – this really helped me and my OH.
Don’t forget that after 3 days the Nicotine has completely gone from your system so you aren’t fighting a chemical addiction after this point – just a habitual addiction that you’ve decided aint for you anymore.
any coments on sleeping
when your mind is thinking of nothing but fags
and petrol station
all i can think off is a bottle of whisky,
only problem, i dont drink.
the weed was my only vice
it took a heart attack to make me give up. in the first few weeks i was telling people i am giving up smoking, I also counted the days. Then it dawned on me that a) by counting the days i was thinking about smoking.
b) By keep using the term giving up, I was reminding myself i was depriving myself of something which brought it into sharper focus.
If you are seriously giving up smoking you are a NON SMOKER now, no need to count days or describe yourself as someone who is giving up. It is all in the mind.
I think you have realised that you can live without cigarettes – this is a massive hurdle to get over when you first start thinking about quitting – you now know that smoking isn’t the massively addictive thing that many people think it is.
Don’t fall into the trap of having just one – you are either a smoker or a non-smoker – you can’t be both -
Give it a couple of weeks and you will hate the smell – I never realised it smelled that bad – when that kicked in it put me off for good – I don’t even think about smoking now (unless it’s to pat myself on the back for giving up) and I used to smoke a pack a day.
But Why Does My Mouth Taste Of An Ash Tray, Cant Get Rid Of It
Congratulations.....Well done.
The reason for the ash-tray taste is that your sense of taste and smell is coming back.
The ash-tray taste will fade after a few days.
You will also start to notice that you feel better in your self. Your breathing will improve considerably.
It was a few choice words from the cardiac consultant when I was in hospital that did it for me. From forty a day to zilch in one jump.
Now that you've got this far, don't let it lapse. You are one of the elite.
