Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
received a fixed penalty notice from the police 2 days ago, parked on double yellow and no defence really.
i keep hearing about how easy it can be to appeal parking tickets so thought i'd check it out online.
i am aware that a fixed penalty notice cant be appealed as such but that i can request a court hearing, i know some will say i should just pay up as i was blatantly in the wrong.
my only defence would be that the penalty notice has the street name spelt incorrectly. the question is would this be reasonable grounds for appeal for this offence?
