Looking for help writing appeal letter to Alliance and Leicester reg business account
Hi all
Im looking for some help writing an appeal letter to Alliance and Leicester regarding several business bank accounts that are to be closed within the next 30 days.
I would be greatfull in any solicitors, entrepreneurs, business account managers or anyone who understands the situation to reply to this thread or send a pm.
I can plead my own case, however I know once a bank takes this route it would need to be something very special to have a sucessfull appeal.
Re: Looking for help writing appeal letter to Alliance and Leicester reg business account
Welcome to the site.
Much depends on the circumstances-presumably default notices have been issued ?
What are the reasons that they have given for closing the accounts ?
Can you give some more detailed info.
I will move your thread into the Business bank forums.
Re: Looking for help writing appeal letter to Alliance and Leicester reg business account
Hi MARTIN3030
I applied online for the business bank account in January this year, my application was accepted and account opened, got all my acount information through the post, account number, cheque book, visa debit, deposit cards and internet banking security....
So that was fine, I proceeded to register a few more Ltd companies with companies house, paid for the development work for the ecommerce websites and for each ltd company, server hosting, design work, ltd company formation costs....
To save confusion I spread out my business bank account applications with Alliance and Leicester over a 1 month period.
We got to business acount number 4 and then I received regection letters for the rest all in one day. The followoing day I received a further letter to say the 4 other accounts would be closed in 30 days.
On their letter they state that they consulted credit reference agencies. I do have one default from 5 years ago which is in dispute for nearly 2 years now becuase of no cca, but this obviously did not stop them from opening the first 4 accounts.
Their letter does state that I can appeal, and I would like to.
Then again today I receive an acceptance pack for a different application.
