    Default Skyrocket V Creation

    Been away for a while and now back!!
    Am now in hot pursuit of Creation.
    I think I've already messed up though. I sent the prelim and got a letter saying I can have £130 back (which is the difference they worked out over £12).
    Now I've been reading all about compound interesticon and want to claim that. Do I need to restart?
    Obviously I am not going to accept their offer! They owe me 4 times that!

    BOS - Prelim letter del 19/5/06 LBA del. no response - filed 12/06
    Clydesdale Financial Services - Gave them their chances off to court we go!
    HSBC - Watch out I'm coming after you next!

    no i don't think you need to restart, on your next letter you send which should be you letter before actionicon, just state that if they don't refund the full amount you will be claiming the statutory 8% interesticon and court costs, tehy will then either offer you another amount or the full amount which will be their Full and finalicon offer, if this offer is not what you want then when you make the claim to court just add 8% interest using the spreadsheet provided on this site.

    They have just offered me the same as you but i will be claiming full amount plus 8% interest, hopefully i should have another offer through within the next ten days

    Note that they don't have to pay the 8% interesticon unless you take it to court, but you can try and claim it which is what i have done

    Isn't the statutory interesticon different to the compound/contractual interest? I'm not 100% but I thought I could ask for the contractual interest before I need to file against them

    I would start again with the preliminary stating you are claiming compound interesticon. After all you won't lose out as compound starts the day after the charge was added to your account.

    I ended up complaining to the the ICO saying they were not a fit organisation to have a credit licence, going for compound - and sending in the baliffs. All good fun.............. Don't forget their new address is somewhere is Solihull - not Birmingham.

    I even filled out an investigation sheet the ICO sent me. I doubt if they will stop trading but it made me feel empowered.
