Default Code 27, Check if PCN is valid

This morning i got a pcnicon for parking adjacent to a dropped kerb, now i admit that there was a dropped kerb but i only stopped there for 5 mins max, is there anything i can do to appeal this and can someone have a look if the PCN is actually valid here.

Also below is a small drawing of where the car was parked, as you can see the road is marked by red lines is not actually on the map... which i think could that its a private road, the pathway is marked in grey, car in blue and green is the dropped bit... would this be of any use for an appeal?

The dropped footway offence has various exemptions such as loading goods or picking people up. The CEO does not by looking at the pcnicon seem to have given you any observation time? I would sugest you come up with a plausible excuse for being there and the Council would not be able to dispute it without any time being given to observe activity around the vehicle.

So from your point of view, what would be the best excuse? picking somenoe up and get someone from the house to write a letter confirming this?

Sounds like a good starting point, I would however point out that technically in legal terms you also must have had no alternative than to park there so if the street was half empty its less they will let you off.
