Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
OK - you have shamed me into posting and not just viewing! I am not used to posting on forums so you will have to bear with me. Just about to send the data protection letter to the Halifax for me and my partner - reckon they owe us about £3000 in total. I have been waiting to set up a new bank account with Nat West just in case Halifax tell us to take a hike when it is all over but, I haven't seen anything on the forums to suggest that they are one of the banks that will.
Welcome
Nevertheless a parachute a/c is v. sensible.
Start a new thread in the Halifax forum and post your progress and questions in one thread.
Good luck.
