Default Getting out of Talk Talk? HELP!

    Hi Folks

My mum has just recently joined Talk Talk from BT (not sure who's worse?) as she was talked into it by some idiot. She joined the TT and broadband package, 18 month contract.
Since she joined she has had nothing but problems i.e. poor connection/crackly sound, not being able to make calls and other callers not being to get through etc
As far as getting on-line is concerned, it just hasnt happened! Have rang their so called broadband support team several times and the Indian blokes just repeat the same thing over and over again to us. Bearing in mind each telephone conversation can last up to an hour! God knows at what rate these calls are at?!

TT say that you can cancel 30 days after broadband service has been connected, well we have NEVER been connected!

    The facts

    1. Joined TT about Jan 5th
    2. Was promised Internet Jan 21st - Never been able to get on it!
    3. Switched back to BT Feb 27th

As you can see from the facts, we have switched providers out of the '30 day get out period', can anyone advise where we stand?

I have a feeling she will get a bill for leaving them. No way should she have to pay for something she has not had!

Any advice/help would be greatly received.

    Many Thanks

    Or e-mail customerservices@talktalk .co.uk

Ask them to either cancel all money owed as they were unable to provide the services or issue you with a "Deadlock letter". If they issue you with a deadlock letter you may then escelate the complaint to Otelo who provide "Independent telecommunications complaints mediation service"
