Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Not sure if this is the right place for this or not, i cant find anywhere else relevant to put it, so here goes.
I thought it might be of possibly to people that have dmp's with the company harrington brooks.
In the last two weeks, both my younger brother, and my mother, who are both with them, have had phone calls from harrington brooks telling them they will be reclaiming all the PPI, plus interest on all loans where applicable.
It will of course be used to lower the total for each debt, but i think its a significant move on their part, ive not heard or seen a dmp doing this, though i have looked through the forum, i may have missed it.
I posted this info because im sure we all know a few people on these schemes, and that the companys take a portion per month as a fee.
Seems to me theyr about to start working harder for their fee
