    Default Mariana v RBoS VISA

    Hi everyone

    I am so outraged! Sent off my DPA request to RBoS last week and had a letter acknowledging my request on Friday.

    I paid approx £700.00 onto my Visa credit card last month. Used it for paying for my three MCOL claims last week. Checked my balance this morning, when to Tesco to do the shopping - with two kids in tow - not easy ... anyways went to pay for it -card is DECLINED!!!!!

    I could luckily pay for the shopping, but when I got home, I phoned RBoS and was told that my account has been CLOSED and all privileged withdrawn!!!!!!!

    You can only imagine my reaction! Has this happenend to anyone else?

    Please help - I am fuming mad!

    Cr*p one CONNED statements 08/06 ROFLMAO
    Cr*p one charges=£976
    con int 34.9% £1,003.75 £1,979.75.

    I'm pretty sure i've read somewhere on this forum about the OFT not being happy with banks/CCs doing this sort of thing so i'd do a search for ACCOUNT CLOSURES or along those lines. and get in touch with the OFT and maybe the trading standards people.

    maybe someone more in the know can help you

    Rbs £114 + contractual at 29.84% I won total=£125 no laughing it's a win
