Default Can i claim my PPI back??

    Hi Guys nebie here.
I havent read extensivley about claiming back PPIicon but took issue during my car finance which finished autum last year.

The company was welcome finance! My wife and i took out joint finance for a car purchase and thought the PPI was a good idea!!

Approximatley 3 months after purchasing the car i was crashed into by another driver in this car he admitted full liabillity and i subsequently went off work for a month with whiplash. I called welcome to inform them of the situation as its there car and they where happy that the insurance company was taking care of everything.
At this point i asked about the PPI and could i claim for the month i was going to be off work!
I was told that because my wife signed the HP agreement first she was the only one entitled to claim on the PPI and i would have to keep paying.
I was obviously miffed at this but in my naivetiy i took them at there word and left it at that.
Does anyone think i have a case to claim back the PPI payments??

    Thanks in advance
    Jay

Hello and welcome (no pun intended)

I certainly would be going after them for the ppi.

When you needed it, it wasn't there for you, so what was the point in paying for it
