Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
On the 12th January, I ordered some items from Maplin, amongst which were 5 LCD displays, priced at £0.19 on their website.
A few days later, the delivery was received, and I discovered that they had sent 5 small pieces of plastic which can be used to mount of displays.
On the 16th January, sent an email to complain about the incorrect item being supplied, and got a response saying that the item I ordered was correct, and that the LCD display was £9.99.
Another email was sent to them, and a response was not received until 18th February, which asked me to explain where I found the item for £0.19 on their website.
I informed them of where I found it, and a couple of emails later, sent the following.
At the time of purchase, the price was £0.19, but has since been changed. I'm sure that the department in charge of the website will be able to confirm this.
The customer care department responded with
This will be updated today however it is supposed to be the price for the FE35 not the FE33.
Sorry for any inconvenience that may that have been caused.

Sorry, it was a mistake so their terms and conditions protect them from such, most retailers protect themselves from errors and omissions on their web sites or catalogues.
