hi i am in recipt of job seekers alloence contribution based my partener works 27hrs part time i am told i cannot get help with morgage payments as my partener works more then 24hrs a week so this is classed as full time we therfore asked about tax credits to be told my parteners hrs of 27 is less than 30 so therfore she is classed as part time and we are not entitaled to tax credits this seems very strange that we do not quallify for any help and advise at job centre level is not avalible or just pass the buk to a phone number where the same answers come forward is there any advice that you can help me with as i feel there are a lot in a simular possition with thanks
well i have no children taking agency work when and where offered that is stopped out of benefits tried link above no joy as 27 hrs classed as part time but thanks
