I bought a used Ford Mondeo 3 month ago from a firm called ACF, a bona fide dealer.... now with 85k mileage the engine needs replaced?? How can this be so? I have driven less than 3000 miles myself in it. The garage i have taken it to seem to think it is clocked?
What rights do I have, it has clearly had an engine fault for a while, long before i got the car?
I also have this on finance for which i will be stopping the payments.

Went on MOT site, seems a lot of miles done between one of the MOT's, 13673 miles. Also MOT failed due to suspension problems and then must have been fixed.
There is just something not right about the car. Used as a Taxi in the past maybe?
So are you saying the clock shows 85k and the Vosa site shows a different mileage??
