I am now going for the remaining £1300 ish charges from the sixth year as I couldn't on my first claim as it would have taken me over the claim limit of £5000. Has anyone ever done this?

I've had a charge for exactly the same procedure. Cheque paid in, CLEARED on the same day as a Direct Debit was due out, £29.50 Failed DD Charge. When I phoned them I got it refunded, and the lady admitted Debits are done before Credits. If I hadn't phoned, they'd have made another £29.50. Not sure how many people are aware they do this. Yet another amazing example of the tricks they are up too!!
