Default Accucard - More Than Card

    Hi all,

has anyone taken on Accucard (trade as More Than Card)

It has recently moved across to Lloydsicon, but I received charges whilst under the Accucard/More Than banner

Does anybody have the DPA address for these, and what sort of experience have people had? (I've searched the forums but found nothing on these!)

    Thanks

    NCF

    Hi all,

has anyone got their S A R info from More Than?

Theyve had a week now without any correspondence , which going on other cards/banks seems a little unusual?

Default Re: Accucard - More Than Card

Hi can anyone help I had an Accucard mastercard £500. limit and it closed about 1 year & 1/2 ago. Now that Lloydsicon own accucard I have contacted them as to where I can get past staments. I just said that I needed a proof of purchase from the card. I was told that there are no details what so ever and that as I don't have a card anymore my details would have been deleted. Is this true or are they trying to hoodwink me?

There is hope for me yet..... I have just received a copy of my credit report. I found an unrecognised name GE Capital (ARCADIA) aka ACCUCARD. I telephoned GE Capital to ask who Arcadia were they confirmed that it is indeed Accucard and supplied me with the old ACCOUNT NUMBER. I asked them to put the £540 limit to £0 as this was all paid up in January 2004 and the account closed. The advisor said that it was fine as it was as it was an old disused account. I asked him to send me in writing the reason why he has refused to do this. He said I would have to send a letter in writing to GE Money, Po Box 700, Leeds, W Yorkshireicon LS99 2BD I asked if they had details of my old Accucard account..He said YES. As soon as they amend this I am going to send them a S A R.

Exclamation Re: Accucard - More Than Card

    Hoodwink, deffo

They are legally obliged to keep these records for a certain time (not sure how long, but they should have records for the timeframes you speak of)

Use the template in the library and do a S.A.R - (Subject access requesticon) data protection request on them, you need only provide your name, address (as at the time the card was held) and your DOB, they should sort the rest.

Also - please start your own thread on this, that way people can keep track and help you better - Cheers.
