Hi , I would be grateful for any help....I entered a lease purchase agreement 18 months ago for a new truck . I never signed the original document . the finance company faxed me a photocopy to sign which I duly did and faxed back to them , I also neglected to date the document that I faxed back . I wonder if anyone has an opinion on whether I could legally get out of this agreement or where I could go to get expert advice . I have paid all due payments each month on time , Thanks.
A contract is a contract is a contract! the fact it is undated is irrelevant, the dates are recorded when faxed etc. If they took you to court IMHO they would be able to prove you entered into a binding contract.
