RBS and the Numpties at Cobbetts - can I stop this
Hi All
I have been in the process of reclaiming my charges from RBS for some time now . Initially the refunded a percentage of the fees in response to the lba, so I then went on a raised an N1. At no point did any one at RBS respond to the claim - so I file a judgement by default and sent in the bailiffs ( having given them 3 weeks from judgement to pay).
Mid December Cobbets wrote to say they were acting
They then wrote to the courts with a witness statement to say that the paperwork never got to the right department?
Plus the wording on the application for the set aside is really quite odd " and there is some other good reason"!!!!
There is due to be a hearing for the set aside, but I really am not sure why RBS are farting about- and going to all this trouble for a claim that is only £300
Is there any way I can get the judge to push on with it?
The judge is likely to grant the set aside, unless they fail to attend the hearing, in which case you could request the set aside be struck out and judgement granted.
