Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Oh no, I've only just been directed to this forum and it's wonderful. I am a Barclays victim and it's wonderful to find such superb advice here to set my financial world to rights. The only downside is that I was really looking forward to switching to Cahoot as I thought they didn't make penalty charges however looking through the forums I gather that they do!
Can anyone recommend any banks that are more morally sound and don't continually rip you off with penalty charges?
But you will probably find that they are all more or less as bad as each other.

lol thanks barracad. I thought it might be a tall order. Never mind! Do any banks not charge when you go over your overdraft limit. I thought that some increased your interest rather than charging lump sums?
If anyone dose find a bank that dont charge for going over the O/D I think we would all be Interested

Ahhh well. I've read a few threads and see that quite a few people have recommended Nationwide. I called and the adviser told me that they only charge one unorthorised overdraft limit of £20 in a month as opposed to Barclays who charge up to three at £30 a time so I'll probably go with them.
