I sent my cca request off to Egg with a cheque (x3 ccas = cheque for £3)
My oh made the cheque out and he made a mistake on it which he altered and initialled. Egg have sent the cheque back todau as they say it is invalid
I have had to do it over again.No one else has ever refused a cheque which is altered as long as its initialled.
They are trying to mind their p`s and q`s probably which is a bit inconvenient and I can`t imagine what else they can gain out of doing it. I`ve personally asked for a new cheque at times in the past ( not that I get offered that many lol), it`s water torture, don`t let them wind you up cas, cool heads and steady hands and all that.
