Hbos Ppi

Hi all.

I have decided to try and reclaim HBOS icon

on behalf of my younger bro and Hubby.

Hubbies PPI: In around 2002 we took out a HBOS loan. I think this could have well been the second loan we had with them(I cannot remember)With this loan hubby had bronze credit care.Hubby was not questioned about other insurance he may have already had and was not informed that he could have purchased this else where on a monthly basis. We already had insurance for everything as we had just purchased our first house and we actually eventually worked out we were over insured(just simply said yes to everything). So PPI was added to the loan. We eventually decided in 2004 to purchase anouther loan. In theroy we just wanted a top up. So we borrowed extra from HBOS. This involved paying off the existing loan and applying for a new one. Again he was sold credit care and again no questions asked. So this loan now has in a way two PPIs incorporated into it. Now this second loan I cannot actually claim on as we did have to make a claim onit in 2006. Hubby no longer has the paperwork for the first loan. No account number or anything. All he has is the old preference card that was sold along with it.(We have actually claimed the PPI from this and won). So my question is how do I ask bank of scotland for a copy of this agreement with no account number??? Once I have this I can then start the process

In 2004 My younger Bro was sold a loan from HBOS and again the same thing no mention of being able to get this seperately or any questions about what other insurance he has. My bro does actually have the paperwork for this and the PPI cost him £2648.80 How do I calculate the interest icon

for this???

Hi guys any help on this will be great as Hubby has just been served with an enforcement for a CCJ on the current loan so If I can get PPI icon

back then that would a good payment towards this.

I only have figures for the current loan at the mo but we cant't claim the PPI icon

back n that as we have actually used it. The agreement though with all the figures is here

Advance £5000
creditcare £2648.80

amount of credit £7648.80
total charge for credit £3026.76
total payab;e £10675.56

84 monthly instalments £127.09

starting 1st September 2004 end date will be 1st September 2011

If I send the Full SAR icon

letter from the templates with the current loan account number will the details of the old loan come with it ??

OK I am assuming that this SAR icon

is the one. It sounds correct so I will post that in the morning. As far as my bro's loan is concerned I have all the deatils for that so It is just a case of asking for the money back isn't it?? So is there a template for this or anybody have any idea what to write. I know lots of questions I do apologise for that. I am spending this week trying to get my head around this and other stuff to get the ball rolling on it all. It has been hanging around for too long

I purchased the above policy from you in September 2004 but now believe that I was mis-sold icon

this policy for the following reasons

your salesperson was very pushy in selling me the policy so that I felt I could not say no.
your salesperson did not tell me that the policy was optional and I have since realised that I have alternative insurance cover.
your salesperson did not give me full information on what the policy would and would not cover
i am concerned the sales assistant that sold me the policy has no financial background and the policy was not sold in my best interests.
Your salesperson did not explain to me that there was alternative types of insurance for example policies to pay monthly

Unless you can satisfactorily justify to me that the policy was fair and [/font]
Reasonable I am requesting a full refund of all premiums, and subsequent interest icon

on these payments, that I have paid to date. As I believe I have been deprived of this money I also expect 8% statutory interest, the amount a court would award, to be added to each payment made.
I look forward to a full and prompt response to this letter and for the matter to be concluded within eight weeks or I shall be contacting the Financial Ombudsman icon

to investigate my complaint
