Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hiya - new at all this but looking to reclaim missold PPI on a loan taken out back in 2001.
Usual story, was made to feel that getting the loan would be dependent on taking the insurance, also we were never told that it would be added to loan amount as upfront lump sum and that it would only cover 5 years of a 24 year loan......
I understand that the laws relating to PPI misselling changed in 2004 so can anyone advise if this will this make the claim harder or impossible? Are there any differences in the way I need to go about the claim?
Just going to send off the first letter with my £10 requesting full details but any advice I can get to ready myself for the next stage will be greatly appreciated!
