Arrow paulypaul: LTSB credit card CCA compliance

I would like to commence the process of challenging the legitimacy of the agreement for my ltsbicon 'gold card' account which was taken out a long time ago, so long ago that I can't remember when it was, it must have been in the late 90's.

One possibly minor complication is that the account is in joint names with my wife (yes I know, don't rub it in), I can't remember whether the agreement, if it is valid, is enforceable against both parties?

As a separate issue, I will be challenging late payment charges, I'll set up a separate thread for this as I think it requires a different route?

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

you will only be able to claim back CC charges 6yrs from this date.
and what do you hope to gain by challenging the agreement of a card some 10+yrs old?

Hi dx - three threads but actually with similar names, different issues, is that a problem? I thought that was what we are supposed to do here. Apologies if I've screwed up - it is late ...

What I want to do is find a route to getting a more reasonable repayment planicon in place, due to changed circumstances I've only been able to make minimum payments for the last couple of years, ltsbicon flatly refuse to convert it to a loan, at this rate it will never be paid off (£13k).
