Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi Livis, I am trying to locate a regulation that requires Egg to provide t&cs that aren`t wilfully made difficult to understand-ie NOT small print, I am thinking perhaps the screen dump that I got ( and just wondering if you got the same thing) was about an inch thick of screen dumps of t&cs that were not relevant to my particular alleged accountie from different time periods, and thinking has Egg deliberately attempted to confuse me the customer in sending so much rubbish.
I haven`t seen a post answering or asking this question, so if there is one, sorry for duplicating efforts.
Hi Lolli,
I haven't seen anything answering this question either yet.
My Egg loan did send me screen prints for t&c's but they were current.
And as for my egg card, they didnt send my anything at all
And I am still 99% sure they are required to set out our rights to cancellation within ALL copies made of our agreements. I don`t think it`s enough for them to attempt to put them in a huge pile of totally irrelevant screen dumps of t&c`s. Certainly not ones that don`t apply to any particular agreement.
I have what appears to be sections 1-3 then a raft of differing versions of section 4 "For customers who apply between 1 May 2003 and 30 June 2003, all the way back to 1 May 2002 and 30 June 2002. After that pages that take me through section 5 to sections 19.
I have kept it in the order it was sent to me and the dates I mention are all over the place-lazy screenprinting. At the very least we have paid peanuts for them to lose all this good quality printer paper. LOL.
I am taking a break for the rest of the afternoon from this, my brain has gone to "full up" mode for the moment.
