Hello everyone,
I need a bit of help please.
I've posted up my questions and copies of eggs reply to my CCA request but i've had no answers back yet.
I was wondering if it's possible to post it in this forum too, to see if anyone can help, but i don't know how to link the threads
Can anyone hlep please? xx
First find your thread in the list, don`t go into it just right click it and then click "copy shortcut", come back to this thread ( if this is where you want to put it, open a reply screen, rightclick again and paste, it won`t show as a link properly until it`s posted.
Hope this helps, there are lots of v bulletin boards and it works the same on all of them.
A lot of info is on the above thread-pretty much as you know, no term "credit limit" and no cancellation rights.
As there are so many of us in the same boat asking the same questions I am thinking it might be worth one or two of the very clever bods on here to just leave a comment that would help us all.
I am also trying to word a letter putting the account in dispute but I want it to look like I know what I`m dealing with.
Although it is nice to know you aren`t in it alone, I don`t want to jump to my death-holding others hands whilst I do it won`t stop it from hurting when I land ( sorry bad analogy)
HI Lollipop,
thanks for your message.
I totally understand what you mean, about wanting to make sure you word a letter correctly etc etc.
I know my letter needs to state that the wording "credit limit" is not there as thats not a prescribed term, but under what section do we write aout it not mentioning your "right to cancel"
Also i didn't recieve any terms and conditions, i know they are supposed to send these but again don't know what section to quote in my letter.
I've had a look at the thread you quoted and the letter that is on there covers the credit limit bit but nothing else.
I'm just really worried that i'll do something wrong.
It's always a nice thought to know i'm not going through this on my own and that there are other people in the same situation.

Hello all,
A bit of advice needed please?
I sent Egg a SAR on the 14th January, they wrote back to me on the 31st Jan saying they are processing my request and it would be with me by the 3rd March.
Well that date has come and gone and Egg have gone well over the 40 day limit which they have to get all docs to me.
My question is sould i report them for non complaince or should i send them a chase letter in the first instance ?
Thanks all
Livis xx
And yet I've had two replies from Egg, both days before the deadline. (I made two cca requests because the first one the Post Office didn't record as delivered - but it obviously was).
Can I PM you both (Lolli & Livis) my 'dispute' letter sent yesterday?
