Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Sorry to double post, but ive had no reply in the Natwest forum
OK, so ive sent the preliminary letter and the letter before action to my local NatWest branch, both recorded delivery. The bank has untill Friday to refund my money which is when im lodging my claim, however the bank has not replied to either of my letters.....
so i was wondering what my next step was, im going to the post office now to check they were delivered, so surely if they were it is the banks responsibility to enter into dialogue with me.
Just reading the sticky on people making mistakes it seems if i dont contact them to talk, my claim could be at risk. If i do have to phone them can someone please post the relevent number.
Also i have not asked for interest in my letters as i was led to believe the interest did not occur untill i made my claim, im a little confused please help, as i need to get this sorted before friday ( which is now today ).
Jay you will probly get more of a responce from the Natwest section and have you had a good read round in there?
Most claims on here got the run around from the banks and will miss deadlines and file your claim today and that should get them to take more notice.
And if you have followed the step by step on here then they have had plenty of contact from you about this matter and you should have had all the standard letters back from them.
And the Intrest is added when you file at court with your claim.
Good luck mate
