Thread: Parking in disabled bay outside of car park hours

Hi,

I've got a Code 87 charge from Leeds City Council for parking in a disabled bay without a permit.

This was in a car park well outside of its operating hours when a pay and display is in effect.

Is it valid that the disabled bays are still in operation even outside of the car parks hours of operation?

I believe the car park would be just free to use outside certain times. It doesn't mean disabled bays are not in operation.

Go back to the location, and take some pics of the parking spot where you got the ticket.
To include all the signs at the side of the bay, pics on the bay end markings and the markings down the side of the bay. Also what is written on the road down the side of the bay.
Also can you post a copy of your ticket showing both sides of the ticket, with all personal details removed.
