Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have sent off a claim for PPI to Welcome, which was received on 8th Jan. I received a letter dated 9th Jan, acknowledging the claim, saying that they are conducting an investigation and get back to me.
How long should I leave this before doing anything else?
Have given Welcome a call this morning as I have still not heard anything from them. They say that they have until 5th March to respond (8 weeks). Is this true? And do I have to wait until then before doing anything else?
It has now been over 8 weeks since the initial complaint to Welcome. I have contacted them again by telephone, and they have said that the complaint is still being processed, and they have a back log. Am I right in thinking that can now take this to the next step? And if so if there a template for the 2nd Letter? Thanks
